Biography

A Front End Web Developer here at The University of Akron, where I get to combine my love for clean code with creating accessible, user-friendly web experiences.

Before joining the university, I spent my time in the agency world working with an eclectic mix of clients—from local municipalities and school districts to mom-and-pop shops and polymer engineers. This diverse experience taught me how to adapt my approach for different audiences and industries, always keeping the end user at the center of every decision.

I'm passionate about web accessibility and believe the internet should be usable by everyone. This advocacy work was recognized when I received the Goodwill Employee of Distinction award in 2022, which remains one of my proudest professional achievements.

When I'm not on campus, you'll find me exploring thrift stores and vintage shops or exploring with my two dogs, Dahlia and Cece. I've turned my love for secondhand treasures into a side hustle with my Depop store, The Eclectic Edit.
