Biography

Dr. Cong joined UA in 2013.  Prior to joining UA, he worked at Det Norske Veritas, Inc.'s Materials and Corrosion Technology Center in Dublin, Ohio.  Dr. Cong received the following awards:  Morris Cohen Graduate Student Award of the Corrosion Division, the Electrochemical Society (2011), NACE Foundation Book Scholarship Award (2007), Mars Fontana Award for Corrosion Engineering - NACE (1st Place, 2006 & 2007).  

He is a member of NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) International, ECS - The Electrochemical Society, ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) International, and ISE (International Society of Electrochemistry).  Dr. Cong has also co-authored several journal articles.
