Biography

Dr. Kannan is a proud Zip class of 2011 and 2014. After he completed his doctorate degree here at UA, he decided to stay to pursue his research and to teach. Along with his many teaching accomplishments, he is the author of 50+ technical publications in archival journals.

Materials Characterization of High Strength Steels for high performance applications, Microstructural evolution in metals, Stress Corrosion Cracking in Alloy Steels, High temperature oxide & non-oxide materials, Fiber reinforced composites, Fracture toughness and fatigue crack growth rate properties of AM repaired, Ti-6Al-4V, Ceramics matrix composites
