SEAC invites all bargaining and non-bargaining staff for snacks and refreshments

The Staff Employee Advisory Committee (SEAC) provides input to University Council and President Miller. Starting the 2022-2023 academic year, SEAC welcomes all bargaining staff members including SBU, CWA and FOP.

As part of this welcome, SEAC invites all staff to bring their lunch, while snacks and refreshments will be provided on Oct. 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the E.J. Thomas Hall's Goodrich Lobby.

Come early if you normally have an early lunch or later if that is your normal schedule. This informal lunch period will give all a chance to associate and catch up on all the work that is being done for all staff employees. You will also be updated on how your voice will be further heard in the future. If you have any questions about the event please email mdowd@uakron.edu.

SEAC Donation Drive “Clean Up For the New Year”

The Staff Employee Advisory Committee is organizing a donation drive to assist UA students with cleaning supplies. In support of the Campus Cupboard, SEAC will be asking members of The University of Akron family to donate cleaning supplies from November 29th to December 6th. Campus Cupboard supplies many of our students in periodic need with access to the basic necessities of daily living. Currently there is a shortage of cleaning supplies like surface and glass sprays and wipes, toilet cleaners, multi surface cleaners, and other cleaning supplies. Students are getting ready to clean up during finals week and when they return for the spring semester. If you are able to help our students during this holiday season look for brightly wrapped boxes with a donation flyer at the below listed locations on campus that are available next week. SEAC will update our blog with a final tally once the donation drive is finished!

  • Auburn Science Center (CEP Deans office)
  • PFOC (UAPD , by the check in window)
  • PFOC (by the time clock)
