Career Opportunities

An undergraduate degree in nursing provides the foundation to work in a variety of settings or pursue advanced degrees. Registered nurses work in:

  • hospital departments such as surgery, maternity, emergency room or pediatrics
  • doctors’ offices
  • clinics and emergency medical centers
  • nursing homes
  • home health care
  • government and private agencies

Career Services

Career Services is located in Student Union 211, with another office in College of Arts and Sciences Building 126. Career Services provides career coaching and programming, and develops valuable relationships with employers and campus partners to provide students with many opportunities for experiential learning and career development.
