The University of Akron has 25 fraternities and sororities. Five of the sororities belong to a student-run governing body called the Panhellenic Council. The Panhellenic Council is the largest women’s organization on campus with over 170 members, and each Panhellenic sorority is made up of diverse, intelligent women. As a community, Panhellenic works together to unify, advance, and advocate for sorority life at UA.

There are currently five National Panhellenic Conference chapters on Akron’s campus that Panhellenic governs: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma, and Delta Zeta. If you or your parent’s want to learn more about UA’s Sorority Life or how to join, click HERE
