Veterans Week Events at UA

(all day) Living History Display – Coleman Common (presented by Marlboro Volunteers)
Wayne Campus-Senator Frank LaRose will be the guest speaker at a luncheon for veterans. Old Carolina BBQ will be providing the meal. All veterans are invited.
(6 p.m.) Movie – “Korengal” An Afghan War Documentary from a U.S. Soldier’s Perspective– Student Union Theatre
(Immediately after the movie) Q & A with MSG Mark Patterson, UA ROTC Department, who is a soldier that has a prominent role in the movie.

(8 a.m.) Continental Breakfast – Ballroom (sponsored by the UA Army ROTC)
(9 a.m.) Indoor Ceremony – Ballroom (sponsored by the UA Army ROTC)
(10 a.m.) Outdoor Ceremony – Buchtel Hall flag pole (sponsored by the UA Army ROTC)
(11 a.m.) 21-Gun Salute – Buchtel Hall flag pole (sponsored by the UA Army ROTC)

Veterans Rock’n Celebration is a celebration of the veterans that have served in the armed forces.
