Chinchanachokchai presents research through University of Angers’ International Research Mobility (MIR) Fellowship
Dr. Sydney Chinchanachokchai, associate professor of marketing, recently completed a one-month visiting researcher stay in France through the University of Angers' International Research Mobility (MIR) Fellowship.
During her visit, Chinchanachokchai presented her research on advertising attention, culture and consumer well-being to faculty researchers at the University of Angers. She also met with colleagues to discuss current and future research collaborations and attended a research seminar focused on digital detox, an increasingly relevant topic in today's connected world.
The fellowship provided an opportunity to showcase research from The University of Akron College of Business to an international academic audience while strengthening research partnerships between the two institutions.
"When our faculty engage with scholars around the world, the benefits extend beyond research," said Dr. Terry Daugherty, dean of The University of Akron College of Business. "These experiences strengthen our academic community, enhance our global reputation and ultimately enrich the educational experience we provide our students."
The UA College of Business congratulates Chinchanachokchai on this prestigious international research opportunity and thanks the research team at the University of Angers for its warm welcome and collaboration.
