When should I meet with my advisor?

You should schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor 2-3 weeks before your assigned day and time to schedule classes for the next semester (your enrollment appointment). Your enrollment appointment day and time can be found in My Akron.

Why do I have a hold on my account?

There could be many reasons including financial, academic, library, parking, and behavioral. Contact ZipAssist in Simmons Hall at 330-972-7272 to learn more about the hold and the apppriate area to contact to get it resolved.

How do I change my major?

Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor and they can help start the process.
