Biography
Amirhassan (Amir) Javadi, M.A., is a doctoral intern at the University of Akron Counseling and Testing Center and a Ph.D. candidate in Counseling Psychology at Cleveland State University. He earned his M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tehran and worked in private practice in Iran for four years before beginning his doctoral training. He works from a psychodynamic perspective, and his dissertation examines therapists’ philosophical commitments. Outside of work, Amir enjoys cooking, exploring the trails around Akron, and watching movies.
