Geoscience Students presented at Spring 2026 GSA meeting

03/25/2026

Five Geosciences students presented original research at the spring 2026 combined meeting of North-Central & South-Central & Southeastern Sections of the Geological Society of America, showcasing their work alongside professional geologists and scientists from across the region.

These student presentations reflect the strength of UA’s Geoscience program in providing hands-on research experiences and preparing students for careers in earth science. Their travel to the meeting was provided by the generous support of the Dr. Roger J. Bain Memorial Award.
