Brian Cassidy has been named a full-time Assistant Professor and Law Librarian.
Professor Cassidy holds a B.S. from Southern Connecticut State University in Political Science, a J.D. from The University of Dayton School of Law, and an M.L.I.S. from Kent State University.
Following law school, he worked at LexisNexis as a Senior Legal Research Associate, and in lobbying and political contribution compliance and research. Professor Cassidy also served three years in the United States Army and was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom II in Baghdad, Iraq as a member of the 1st Cavalry Division. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal among numerous other awards.
Professor Cassidy has been employed as law librarian for over 16 years including positions at Cleveland State University, Texas Tech University and the West Virginia State Law Library. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio
