Time Commitment: 5–10 hours per week

Project Description:

Davey Resource Group, Inc. (DRG) is seeking a motivated college student studying ecology or a related field to join our Northern Ohio team. This internship offers a dynamic mix of fieldwork and office-based ecological support, providing valuable experience in environmental consulting and ecological restoration.  DRG is an Environmental Consulting firm providing services in natural resource and urban forestry consulting, ecological design and restoration, and civil and water resource engineering to state and local governments, utility and energy companies, and private sector clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with site surveys, data collection, and ecological restoration projects in the field
  • Support data entry, data management, and report writing tasks in the office
  • Collaborate with field ecologists on various environmental assessments and documentation

  • Must be available for full-day fieldwork (typically weekdays)
  • Flexibility to travel during the workday to project sites across Northern Ohio
  • Strong interest in ecology, environmental science, or natural resource management
  • Attention to detail and willingness to work in outdoor conditions
