Overview
The Minor in Metalsmithing offers a structured path from foundational techniques to advanced artistic expression in metal. Students begin with core skills in forming, fabrication, and surface design, then expand into color application and complex construction. Through hands-on studio work, students create original jewelry, sculptural objects, or experimental forms.
Admissions Requirements
Authorization from the student, adviser and Myers School of Art is required to add the Minor in Metalsmithing.
