Overview

The strategic leadership certificate is for aspiring business professionals who want to develop their leadership skills and excel at managing teams, developing successful collaborations, and creating engaging work culture. The certificate program offers three classes each of three credit hours.

Admissions Requirements

The University of Akron Bulletin acts as a guide for degree requirements, however official requirements are established at the time of transfer and admission to the degree-granting college. Once enrolled, students should refer to the degree progress report which is definitive for graduation requirements.

Students must hold graduate admission to pursue this certificate program. See requirements for the Strategic Leadership graduate certificate here.

Career Outcomes

A Strategic Leadership Certificate prepares graduates for leadership and management roles focused on leading teams, driving organizational change, fostering collaboration, and shaping workplace culture.
