A Future In-Flux explores the dissipation of nostalgia amidst a future that is ascending quickly through the artist’s perspective. Throughout the work, Elyse Orosa suggests contemporary issues – the economy, healthcare, media - impacting this generation of youth. The exhibit examines the weight of being so painfully present at an age, the early twenties, where every decision feels like a risk; a weight that is tempered by loved ones.
About the Artist
Ohio-based artist Elyse Orosa specializes in painting and drawing and attends The University of Akron, Myers School of Art, where she plans to graduate in spring 2026 with her BFA.
