Chapter Bio:
On a snowy day in 1848, six men set out to create an organization that would help men become the greatest versions of themselves. The men of Phi Delta Theta at the University of Akron strive to continue this legacy today. Focusing on three principles, Friendship, Sound Learning, and Moral Rectitude, Phi Delts hold themselves to a high standard. As a college organization, Phi Delta Theta's main goal is to be the best supplement to the classroom. We focus on character and leadership development, philanthropy, scholastics, sports, and the social aspect of college. Our national Philanthropy organization is Live Like Lou which focuses heavily on ALS research. Our chapter has the goal to help every man find what he wants in a college organization, and provide him with the tools to succeed in life.
