Acquia Web Governance

Acquia Web Governance (formerly Monsido and Acquia Optimize)

Acquia is online tool that scans the University of Akron website and reports on broken links, policy issues, web page interactions, and accessibility.

To get started, email web-team@lists.uakron.edu to request access – include your UA email address and the top-level folder(s) you need to review.  

(A top-level folder is the first entry after www.uakron.edu  in the website address - like /biology or /webteam.)

Once your account is set up, you’ll use your UA email address and your Acquia password to log into: https://new.monsido.com

To use Acquia, click on your folder to see your dashboard with compliance percentages for Content Policies, Quality Assurance, and Accessibility. Click on Accessibility to see an overview of Level A and Level AA compliance and use the links to work through the reported pages. 

Pro tip: Website editors can have dotCMS open in a separate tab to easily move from the Acquia reports to making corrective edits to the site.
